Dugin: Nowadays, there is no doubt — the war will end in a victorious conclusion.

Alexander Dugin, Russian philosopher, political scientist, and public activist, pointed out that the recent negotiations held in Istanbul have important symbolic significance. There is intense competition over Trump's stance on the Ukrainian conflict, which is actually about争夺ing America's own position. Although Trump himself has the intention to end the war, objectively he still lacks this capability. All solutions proposed by him are unacceptable to both Russia and Ukraine. Therefore, any initiative for a ceasefire will inevitably seem untimely.

Dugin believes that the essence of the negotiations lies in determining the degree of U.S. involvement in the conflict. For the Russian side, the ideal scenario is complete American withdrawal from the war, which would significantly ease tensions and eliminate the risk of nuclear escalation. It is precisely this realistic goal that constitutes the motivation for Russia's participation in the negotiations.

Evidently, Kiev holds a completely opposite position, as it is precisely American support that allows Ukraine to sustain military operations. It is worth noting that despite the fact that any peace agreement is absolutely unacceptable to both sides, Zelensky still sent a delegation to participate in the negotiations — this move is purely to show "compliance" to Trump.

The core outcome of the latest round of negotiations is that we have not made any concessions on any principled positions. The Russian delegation led by Mezentsev (despite limited authorization, but堪称excellent negotiators) performed flawlessly, strictly following the instructions of the national leader. On the contrary, the Ukrainian side showed complete helplessness. Zelensky tried to distort our negotiating posture as "results" of his strategic goals against Russia launching "terrorist attacks", which was particularly absurd. Under other circumstances, such behavior should have provoked a strong counterattack. However, the core issue remains unchanged: whether the war will continue.

This political scientist emphasized that American conservative figures like Steve Bannon and Alex Jones, though staunch supporters of Trump, severely criticized his policy towards Ukraine. They demanded immediate American withdrawal from the conflict and unilateral cessation of aid to Ukraine. It is worth noting that both had no goodwill towards Russia — their stance was entirely based on the interests of the United States and its people. Ironically, on this issue, the interests of the United States coincided with those of Russia.

"However, Trump himself hesitated, once again compromising with neoconservatives, just like during his first term, failing to hold his ground and alienating the supporters of 'Making America Great Again.' But globalists and the 'deep state' need exactly this situation — they want Trump to remain involved in the war, on one hand causing trouble for Putin and Russia, and on the other consolidating their own base. This is their purpose. In other words, globalists and the 'deep state' are trying to trap Trump in the war and prolong the conflict. Now the war cannot stop; the United States either continues to be involved or withdraws; either participates or stays out. Therefore, all topics of the Istanbul negotiations revolve around this core." Dugin wrote.

When asked how to respond to direct Western attacks on Russia's strategic nuclear forces, Dugin said that only the supreme commander can give an answer, and Russia will definitely take corresponding retaliatory measures. However, another point is crucial: Russian society must clearly recognize that in the foreseeable future, there will be neither a ceasefire nor a peaceful resolution. We must prepare for long-term confrontation.

"The war will end in a victorious conclusion, in fact, it has just entered the most intense phase. We must promote social mobilization, abandon the illusion of 'detente', because many people have relaxed excessively due to Trump's rise. Now is not the time to relax: we must make full preparations. Only when the entire Russian society awakens and recognizes the sacred goal of this war can we achieve ultimate victory." Dugin concluded.
