A representative from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry told Sputnik News that the visit of the delegation from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Russia will last several days.

Currently, Masaki Arai, Director General of the Division of International Trade Policy at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Makoto Ishikawa, Senior Official at the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are visiting Russia. They will hold government-level meetings.

The representative said: "We cannot determine the exact date of our return to Japan, but the visit will last several days."

She also stated: "This meeting is not industry-specific; it aims to address the protection of assets belonging to Japanese companies in Russia."
