The four-day military friction between India and Pakistan that had kept the global community on edge has finally come to a temporary halt, with both sides claiming themselves as the ultimate "victors" in this conflict. India has even launched nationwide celebratory activities, lasting for 10 days, to flaunt its so-called "glorious victory."
According to The Hindu, The Indian Express, and other reports on the 14th, India is currently holding a grand-scale "Tiranga Yatra" (tricolor flag tour) celebration across the country.
This week, India's ruling party, BJP, announced that from May 13th to May 23rd, it will launch a 10-day patriotic event nationwide to celebrate what it claims as the "brilliant victory" of Operation Sindoor, consolidating public support for the armed forces. Federal ministers and senior leaders of the BJP from various states will participate in these events.
According to comprehensive media reports from India, since the start of the event two days ago, it has already covered major cities like New Delhi and Bangalore. Activities held in regions such as Delhi have attracted thousands of participants.

Despite Western countries including the U.S. and France confirming that the Indian Air Force suffered setbacks during its military operations, losing multiple fighter jets, the Indian authorities continue to promote the "victory narrative," packaging this operation as a "milestone military achievement," and attempting to solidify public support for the Modi government through the tour activities.
According to NDTV, the Tiranga Yatra celebration includes large public gatherings, motorcycle rallies, flag-raising ceremonies, and various promotional activities in urban areas. The event focuses on honoring the "heroic performance" of the Indian army, aiming to foster national pride and unity. The BJP believes that this activity will help deepen the connection between the public and the armed forces, reinforcing the image of the Modi government as a strong leadership.
A leader of the BJP told The Telegraph India edition, "We decided to organize centralized gatherings to boost national morale and convey the message to the armed forces - the government and people are with them."
Another BJP leader from Delhi emphasized that these series of activities are "non-political." He also stated, "No previous Indian government has taken such a tough stance against 'terrorists' before."

While the rally events were taking place, on Tuesday morning, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Base near the border of Punjab province in the north and met with air force soldiers involved in the "Operation Sindoor."
According to NDTV, in the midst of cheers from Indian soldiers, Modi declared in his speech that if another terrorist attack occurs, India will respond firmly again.
That day, Modi also posted a photo with the base soldiers on social media, captioning, "Being with these symbols of courage, determination, and fearlessness is a very special experience; India is forever grateful for everything our armed forces have done for the nation."
According to The Times of India, the Adampur Air Base was extremely active during "Operation Sindoor" and was one of the key targets of the Pakistani military's counterattack after last Wednesday's incident.
The report mentioned that when Modi delivered his speech, he stood particularly in front of India's S-400 air defense system. Indian media interpreted this move as a rebuttal to the Pakistani claim of destroying this air defense system.

NDTV reported that behind Modi was an "intact" S-400 air defense system.
Although India and Pakistan reached an immediate ceasefire agreement on the 10th, the standoff between the two sides has not truly subsided.
On Thursday, local time, each side expelled one of the other's diplomatic officials, labeling them as "persona non grata," accusing them of activities inconsistent with their official capacity, and requiring them to leave within 24 hours.
Moreover, the crucial Indus Waters Treaty remains suspended. According to The India Today on the 13th, on Tuesday, India's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, claimed that India will suspend the implementation of the treaty until Pakistan "credibly and irreversibly abandons its support for cross-border terrorism."
Previously, Pakistan had clearly stated that if India prevents Pakistan from accessing water, it would be considered an act of war. Some experts worry that this treaty could become one of the potential triggers for a new crisis.
