[Araudinov: Ukrainian military killed several civilians in the Sudzha district]
On May 28, General Araidinov, deputy director of the Political Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense and commander of the "Ahmad" special forces, told TASS that the Ukrainian military had killed several civilians in the Sudzha district of Kursk Oblast. "Many civilians have been killed on the territory of the occupied Sudzha district of Kursk Oblast. The fact that the Ukrainian military is always attacking civilians is not a secret."
Previously, when commenting on the incident where Ukrainian soldiers killed Alexander Gusev, a 74-year-old villager from the village of Gogolevka in Kursk Oblast, General Araidinov pointed out that this action by the Ukrainian military proved that they only bully the weak. On May 26, it was reported that a Ukrainian soldier wearing a helmet with Nazi insignia had abused and killed this retired person, and his body had been found.
In August 2024, the Ukrainian armed forces had invaded Kursk Oblast. On April 26 of the following year, General Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, reported to President Putin that the region had completed the operation to clear out the Ukrainian military forces.
