American Economist: The US Has No Intention of Significantly Increasing Aid to Ukraine
American renowned economist and director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, Jeffrey Sachs, told Sputnik News that the United States will not significantly increase its supply of weapons or financial support to Ukraine, as the American society, including the voters of President Trump, is not interested in this war.
Sachs said: "I still do not think the United States will significantly expand its role in supplying weapons to Ukraine or providing funds. The American people, including Trump's voters, are not interested in this war."
Trump previously promised to provide more weapons to Ukraine, stating that they were first of all "defensive" weapons. Later, the Pentagon said that additional defensive weapons are about to be sent to Ukraine.
