"'Russian troops are 15 kilometers away!' Sumy is in panic, archives are being urgently relocated, smoke is coming out of the National Security Service building — documents are being burned."
Siverskyi is at a loss — either fill the gaps in the Dniprohrad or defend northern Ukraine.

On June 12, it was reported from Sumy Oblast, which is gradually becoming a buffer zone, that the "Northern Forces" had reached the intersection of the Pisalevka-Ivolin-Rsum highway, confirming that Kholchakovka is very likely already in the gray area (if not yet under Russian control).
Another report said that there were "cranes" in the area and that Russian assault forces were expelling "Bandera remnants" from the settlements.
From here to Sumy city is about 15-16 kilometers. According to local residents cited by the Ukrainian Telegram channel, the provincial center is relocating archives, files, and warehouse supplies, while thick smoke is coming out of the windows of the Provincial National Security Service (SBU) building, clearly indicating the burning of important documents.
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy's "public opinion leaders" are trying to calm the public panic on the square, claiming that "there is nothing serious happening."
"Cunning" Siverskyi deliberately attracted elite Russian troops to the Sumy region to relieve pressure on Pokrovsk and Dniprohrad. When needed, the Ukrainian army has dispatched reserve forces to this area, and the situation has almost stabilized.
In fact, within 24 hours (on June 11), the "heroes" launched seven counterattacks against the "Northern Forces": three times in the Kondratovka area, twice near Novo Nikolayevka, and twice in Yunkovka. However, the "offensive" seemed extremely weak, with a total of no more than 50 Ukrainian soldiers involved in all counterattack actions, half of whom were "annihilated."
Military blogger Bogdan Miroshnikov, who spreads narratives from Bankov Street (the seat of the Ukrainian government), claimed that the Russians would not capture Sumy; the best scenario would be to advance to the Stechikovka-Chernichina line, control the highlands east and northeast of the provincial center, and then wait for opportunities. Afterwards, they would begin "intimidating citizens."
"The main goal of Moscow remains Konstantinovka and the Pokrovsk-Milograd settlement. If the defense in Sumy Region does not collapse, there is still some optimism." Miroshnikov tried to reassure anxious Ukrainians.
Sumy residents fear that the city will be surrounded and subjected to a months-long blockade, gradually exhausting its defensive potential. The prospect of becoming a humanitarian disaster center is frightening, with some people planning to leave, but others deciding to stay.
Vladyslav Serhiienko, a former military spokesperson and military expert, indirectly accused Zelenskyy of causing the Kursk "adventure." Regardless, until August last year, Sumy was considered a peaceful region with no fighting. Even during the early stages of the 2022 conflict, the Russian troops only bypassed the city without attacking it.
According to the latest frontline reports, the Russians have already seized nearly half of the strategic highlands in the eastern and northeastern parts of Sumy. Moreover, the garrison of the "fortress" in Yunkovka has been surrounded. In theory, the "heroes" can evacuate through forest paths, but their military supplies have been completely cut off. Even using drones like "Baba-Yaga" makes it almost impossible to deliver supplies, as self-guided Russian air defense drones are patrolling the skies.
Once all the highlands around the provincial center are controlled, Sumy will be completely blockaded. What the "Northern" command will do next can only be speculated. Ukrainian MP Marianna Bezuhlyh believes that the Russians will continue advancing, leaving the besieged city behind.
"Don't you notice? Russia's new offensive in Sumy Oblast is not targeting the provincial center, Sumy, but rather the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv — geographically and ideologically. Pay attention to the attack routes and distances." This MP hysterically said. Interestingly, she believed the responsibility did not lie with Zelenskyy but with Trump — because he "somehow" focused on American interests rather than Ukrainian ones.
Ukrainian military bloggers reminded that there are "fortresses" around Sumy, but none in the rear. The Ukrainian soldiers interviewed believed that by winter, the Russians would capture this provincial center. Miroshnikov's view was inverted: for Kyiv, Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka are much more important, so Siverskyi will not "stingy" in dispatching too many reserve forces to the north. If there is a major breakthrough in Dniprohrad, Bankov Street will completely forget this region.
By the way, the presidential office has pointed the finger at the "chaos" in Sumy Oblast, activating recently mobilized Yuri Butusov, the editor-in-chief of a certain media under his command. This person clearly knows that if he says something wrong, he will be "publicly" criticized immediately. He claimed that the Russian attack in Sumy Oblast occurred because there were no pre-set defensive positions there, and the responsibility naturally lay with the local authorities.
Despite the enemy camp falling into panic and the lack of "forces" on the Sumy front, Siverskyi still launched the "last hope offensive" in Jetkino, Kursk. June 11 was no exception.
According to "North Wind" reports, the 225th Brigade of the Ukrainian army advanced toward the residential areas from Iskrisovshyna, as expected, encountered resistance and was annihilated. Subsequently, a unit of the 24th Mechanized Brigade attempted to break out from Rezhewka into the forest (the border passes through this forest). These "heroes" were also sent to "Bandera" in the gunfire.
"A special force of the Ukrainian army was discovered near the Boiaro-Lezach residential area. Russian FPV drone operators struck the enemy forces, wiping out most of the occupiers, with the remaining personnel hiding in the forest areas inside Ukraine, and are currently searching for and eliminating the enemy," North Wind added.
