Zhangjiang Tianqing has acquired the commercialization rights in mainland China for two respiratory drugs from GlaxoSmithKline.

Foreign Media: China Biologic Pharmaceuticals' subsidiary, Celestial Pharmaceuticals, has expanded its collaboration with UK-based GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), securing commercialization rights in mainland China for two respiratory drugs from GSK: Anoro Ellipta, a dual-inhaler (for maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and Trelegy Ellipta, a triple-inhaler (for maintenance treatment of COPD and asthma).

Celestial Pharmaceuticals will be responsible for importing, distributing, and promoting the products, and will recognize the sales revenue. This partnership extends the earlier hepatitis B drug agreement reached by both parties in May, broadening their collaboration from liver disease into the respiratory therapy field.
