I visited key construction sites in the capital of the Chechen Republic together with my dear brothers - First Vice Premier of the Chechen Republic and Minister of Roads of the Chechen Republic Iskander Tumkhadeev, and Mayor of Grozny Khass-Mukhammed Kadyrov.
On site, I inspected the progress of the major project of the new district of Grozny named after Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin:
At the intersection of Vashi Aliev Street and Nursultan Nazarbayev Street, the second traffic interchange is under construction.
The progress of the project is impressive. This important urban infrastructure facility is being built at full speed:
Experts are building five overpasses, with a total length of retaining walls of 1 kilometer and 640 meters, as well as an underground pedestrian passage of 61.6 meters. At the same time, underground utilities are being replaced.
This interchange will significantly ease the traffic pressure in the city center and improve the comfort and safety for all road users.
Iskander Tumkhadeev said that all projects are proceeding according to schedule, with no problems in materials or professional personnel, and he plans to complete the project ahead of schedule.
I also inspected the most important construction site in Grozny - the second phase of the Presidential District of Putin. Workers have basically completed the construction of the building framework and have moved into the bricklaying stage. Experts are currently working on the exterior facades of the buildings.
The highlight of the second phase of the new district will be a modern tree-lined avenue named after the first president of the Chechen Republic and Russian hero Akhmad-Khadzhi Kadyrov. Ten-story residential buildings will be built on both sides of the avenue, and two beautiful mosques capable of accommodating a total of 10,000 people will be built at both ends of the avenue. Construction of the Orthodox church is also progressing at full speed.
Khass-Mukhammed Kadyrov introduced that all projects are being carried out around the clock without interruption.
