Iran Rejects US "Peace Plan"
Iran's Foreign Minister today dismissed the idea of negotiating with the United States to end the war. Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran has not engaged in ceasefire talks with Washington and has no intention of initiating such negotiations under current circumstances.
Commentary: Iran's rejection of the US "peace plan" essentially reflects its refusal to accept an unconditional surrender, reject a non-guaranteed ceasefire, and is an inevitable choice to uphold its own security bottom line. The so-called peace proposal from the US actually imposes binding conditions, lacks credible enforcement mechanisms, and fails to address Iran's core security demands; Iran, in turn, uses a firm statement to clearly define negotiation red lines, insisting that any ceasefire must come with guarantees, and that the aggressor must bear responsibility and provide compensation.
