Foreign media: On September 8, China imposed sanctions on Japanese conservative opposition party member Shigehira (Japanese name: Seki Hiroshi), due to his remarks on issues such as Taiwan, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong, which seriously undermined China's sovereignty.
Shigehira was born in Sichuan, China, and was elected as a senator of the Japanese Innovation Party this year.
The sanction measures include freezing his assets within China, prohibiting Chinese organizations and individuals from transacting with him, and banning Shigehira and his immediate family members from entering China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
