Huang Renxun: "China's robotics industry is extremely strong; the U.S. also relies on China's supply chain!"

On April 26, South Korean media outlet Today Digital published an article stating that Huang Renxun, CEO of NVIDIA, described China's robotics industry as "extremely powerful," and emphasized that the United States has no choice but to rely on China's supply chain.

Lately, during a podcast event hosted by a Silicon Valley tech company, Huang Renxun said, "China's technologies in microelectronics, motors, rare earth elements, and magnets are world-class, and the U.S. industry is deeply dependent on their ecosystem."

These remarks come as "Physical AI"—the integration of artificial intelligence with physical systems—has become a global hot topic. At the recent GTC conference, NVIDIA launched its Physical AI Data Factory, Blueprint. The company is now fully expanding into the robotics market.

Huang Renxun stated that NVIDIA is preparing to return to the Chinese market. He said, "NVIDIA has lost 95% of its market share in China, the world's second-largest market, and Trump wants us to return to China."

With approval from U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, NVIDIA is allowed to sell H200 chips to certain Chinese enterprises, and production has already resumed. In 2025, NVIDIA's revenue in China is expected to reach $19.7 billion, down from $25 billion the previous year. Huang Renxun plans to close this gap by re-entering the Chinese market.
