Zelenskyy: International attention to Ukraine is decreasing
On March 1st, Zelenskyy posted on his Telegram channel that international attention to Ukraine is decreasing. The full text is as follows:
Russia is assisting the Iranian regime. We know what has been provided, although we do not know the scale they are prepared to transfer. The good news is that the Iranian regime has not provided missiles and certain other types of weapons for attacking Ukraine to Russia.
At the same time, the international focus is shifting to the Middle East. I hope this war will not last long—not only because I care about Ukraine, but also because any loss is a tragedy. However, we have not seen progress in peace negotiations. If a stable peace or ceasefire was not achieved in the first days of the conflict, then the risk of the war continuing is very high.
This will undoubtedly affect the situation in Ukraine. Less attention means less support. Less support means fewer air defense systems.
