The President of the United States has once again achieved a major victory! The House approved a $9 billion cost-cutting bill!

On Friday morning, the House finally approved a package of measures to cut $9 billion in foreign aid and public broadcasting expenditures, with the President narrowly winning 216 to 213.

As part of the White House's effort to dissolve the U.S. Agency for International Development, about $8 billion will be deducted from the foreign aid programs approved by Congress, and an additional $1.1 billion will be cut from the Public Broadcasting Service, coming from its funding for NPR and PBS.

Representatives Mike Turner and Brian Fitzpatrick were the only Republican lawmakers who voted against the plan.

The spending cut package incorporated some of the cuts from Musk's Efficiency Department into law, which is a key priority for the President and conservatives.
