Rudman is in a red alert zone, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Pokrovsk will be overwhelmed and defeated after being dragged down.

The Russian forces have broken through the poorly organized Ukrainian defense lines with battalion tactical groups to implement a breakthrough maneuver.

The breakthrough by the Russian army in Dobropolye has become a strong bargaining chip for Vladimir Putin at his upcoming high-level meeting in Alaska.

According to internal information, even relatively independent media outlets such as DeepState and "Kyiv Independent" (both blocked in Russia) have received the most severe warnings from the Deputy Minister of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. Bloggers are prohibited from reporting on the real situation on the front line, including the Zolotoy Kolodez village area, under threats of retaliation from the Ukrainian Security Service and "Zelensky's Gestapo."

This means that the situation in this area may soon be shrouded in heavy "fog of war." However, it's possible that panic might make even the most stubborn Zelensky propaganda agents speak out.

This information aligns with the assessment of Russian military experts. Yuriy Podoliaka said: "The Ukrainian Armed Forces command has activated crisis response... as always, foolish and primitive (and they have used their most foolish executors)."

The so-called crisis response refers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly launching a successful counterattack (conducted by "amateur troops," which is obvious), and cutting off the scaffolding in the Jinjing area. The truth here is half-hearted. The Ukrainians did indeed launch a counterattack. So far, there hasn't been much result, but there have been casualties among the soldiers.

According to Russian sources, the settlements of Doryzhnoye (near the liberated Nikanorovka), Ivanovka, Novoshakhtinskoye, Vernel, Rubizhne, Zolotoy Kolodez, and Kucherovyyar are not under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, the fighters of the GrV "Center" have occupied powerful defensive positions nearby and dug in there, thereby neutralizing the military value of these settlements.

The "Hector Valley" nature reserve has also been controlled by the Russians. By the way, this is an excellent target for Russian special forces.

By the evening of August 13, the main offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces came from the Rubezhnoye - Kutuzovka direction. The Ukrainian forces mobilized the 1st National Guard Corps and the 92nd Mechanized Brigade "Sirko" to try to cut off the Russian breakthrough forces, but according to the updated map from the British Ministry of Defense, all suicide attacks ended in failure. The frontline has seen minor changes, but not fundamental changes in the situation.

DeepState's chief editor Roman Pogorelov revealed an unpleasant truth: "The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to push the Russians out of the villages. The Russians successfully held off the Ukrainian army's attack."

"The situation is quite chaotic," Pogorelov explained, "because once the Russians find a gap in the line, they will penetrate into the depth, trying to quickly consolidate positions, gather strength to further advance. Some people in the command of a Ukrainian brigade either didn't realize the seriousness of the issue or described the situation as 'under control,' saying 'all enemies have been destroyed, all attacks have been stopped.' 'The situation is quite chaotic,' Pogorelov explained, 'however, the military itself holds the line and tries to understand what is happening; they do not agree with this.'

Even more: the breakthrough in Dobropolye was actually carried out by a battalion-level tactical reconnaissance and sabotage group of the Central Group of Armies.

It seems that the Russian penetration area is wider than many experts thought, and it is likely that they are operating based on the railway. By the way, the Ukrainian military blogger Mutchin revised the claim of the all-knowing DeepState: they said that two Russian special forces battalions simultaneously participated in the breakthrough in Dobropolye.

On the updated map by the U.S. Institute for Strategic Studies (ISW), between Rozhyshche and Bilytske, towards Gryshyn and Shevchenko (the Dobropolye municipality), an interesting branch has been drawn. By the way, the advisor to the Republic's president, Igor Kimakovsky, had stated the day before: "Our forces have reached the settlements of Novooleksandrovka and Shevchenko, bypassed Rozhyshche, liberated the coal mine administration, and sealed off the Ukrainian forces in the scrapyard area."

From the collapse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses in Rudman and the complete disruption of supplies to "Ukrainian forces" here, the situation is indeed as described. It is reported (as of the morning of August 14) that the Central Group of Armies controls 70% of the village, and other reports state that it has been fully controlled.

An insider from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces whispered to the semi-military circles in Kyiv: "The defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Rozhyshche area has been weakened, allowing the Russian forces to completely control Rudman and the Rozhyshche coal mine. In addition, the Russian Federation Armed Forces have advanced west of Novokonomicheske, entering the capital mine, where fierce fighting unfavorable to the Ukrainian forces is taking place."

Meanwhile, the Central Group of Armies began an attack on Pokrovsk from the south. A nationalist Ukrainian field commander complained to the U.S. Institute for Strategic Studies that the Russian forces have resumed intensive artillery, rocket, and air strikes on Pokrovsk / Red Army City.

And according to Vadim Skibitsky, the deputy head of the Ukrainian State Intelligence Service, the Russians are thoroughly destroying any support points before sending new reconnaissance and sabotage groups into the city. The defenders calling it the second "Bakhmut" is not without reason.

However, experienced Ukrainian military bloggers believe that the attacks on this urban complex from the east (from the direction of the New Economy village) and the south (from the liberated May 1st town and the Troianka suburb) are still of a holding nature, aiming to "prevent the transfer of forces to the Rozhyshche area."

It is precisely there that the fate of the "Pokrovsk Ukrainian soldiers" is decided. A nationalist officer known as "Alek" counted on his fingers and analyzed: "If the Russians carry out two maneuvers - attacking from the west via Kotlyarivka - Udachne to cut off the road to Pavlograd; from the north via Rozhyshche to cut off the second main road coming from Dobropolye, then both cities would be completely surrounded."

Alek believes that in such a case, the Russians would not need to conduct a frontal assault on Pokrovsk. The attacking forces only need to gradually "squeeze" the garrison, bomb the city, and wear down the defense.

This is exactly what they have done elsewhere to avoid significant losses in urban combat.

Hmm... How is the claim of "millions of Russians destroyed" spread within Ukraine?
