[US media: Ukrainian intelligence agency is preparing for new operations, "dirty war" has just begun]

On June 6th, in an article titled "Ukraine's Dirty War Has Just Begun", Washington Post columnist David Ignatius claimed that as Trump becomes increasingly detached from the role of peacemaker, Ukraine relies more than ever on its intelligence agencies. According to his sources, Ukraine's special forces are prepared to carry out other complex actions against Moscow. The reporter noted that both sides hope to break the deadlock of attrition warfare; the "cyber" operation by the Ukrainian Security Service is a bold attempt.

During the full-scale war, the Ukrainian Security Service and the Defense Intelligence Directorate turned the slogan of Ukraine's special forces into reality: "I'm watching you." Ignatius compared this to the competition between the FBI and the CIA.

For years, the Ukrainian Security Service has been accused of having a large number of Russian agents within its ranks, but the operation to destroy Russia's strategic bomber force was kept secret.

According to Ignatius' sources, the head of security, Vasyl Malyuk, reported the operation to President Zelenskyy but did not inform the rest of his government's senior members. Moreover, even Malyuk's main deputy was unaware: "The frontline within Ukraine remains a hell filled with drones and cannons, but covert operations may evolve into 'dirty wars' beyond the frontlines, targeting more precise killings, destruction, and strikes against countries supplying weapons to both Ukraine and Russia."
