【New Poll Shows Trump's Approval Rating Dips to a New Low】
On October 29, 2025, Washington time, a joint opinion poll by The Economist and YouGov showed:
In the United States, 39% of people are very or somewhat in favor of Trump's way of handling his presidential duties, while 58% are not in favor, resulting in a net approval rating of -19%. This is the lowest net approval rating Trump has received during his second term in The Economist and YouGov polls.
Additionally, the poll showed that 49% of Americans supported the protest activities on October 18, which were held under the slogan "No King," against Trump, while 33% of respondents gave a negative evaluation of the protests. Notably, only 8% of respondents said they participated in these activities.
The survey shows that Americans have some trust in the military (53% of respondents), small businesses (52%), and police (41%). Congress is the least trusted (8%).
The survey was conducted from October 24 to 27 among 1,623 American adults. The margin of error for the entire sample is approximately ±3.5%.
