U.S. media admits failure in technology containment against China.

On June 2, The Wall Street Journal reported: "The U.S. has almost tried every method to win in the technology competition with China, which covers multiple fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), energy, autonomous driving cars, drones and electric vehicles. So far, all these efforts have been ineffective."

This report essentially questions and expresses anxiety over the effects of the U.S.'s years-long policy of "strangling" - from the entity list to technology blockade, from investment restrictions to obstructing talent exchanges, the U.S. has resorted to any means possible, but instead has activated China's path of independent innovation, surpassing the U.S. in some fields and gradually narrowing the gap with the U.S. in other fields.

While the U.S. is obsessed with building a "technology iron curtain", China is gathering innovative potential through the new national system - In the 2023 Global Innovation Index ranking, China ranks 12th, having improved by 24 places compared to a decade ago. This indicates that the more the U.S. suppresses, the faster China develops.
