South Korean media: Tesla's sales in Europe plunge by 49%, declining for four consecutive months!

On June 13, South Korean media "Global Economy" published an article stating that it was learned that Tesla's sales in Europe also slumped in April.

According to the data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), Tesla's sales in Europe plummeted by 49% year-on-year in April.

This has led to Tesla's sales in Europe declining for four consecutive months, with its market share in Europe halving from 1.3% a year ago to 0.7%.

Tesla's sluggish sales in the European market are analyzed as reflecting the rise of Chinese companies like BYD, aversion to Elon Musk's America-first political activities, and a decline in consumer preference for the Tesla brand.

It is pointed out that although Tesla's representative model, Model Y, released an upgraded version, it did not play a significant role in restoring the brand image.

On the other hand, SAIC Group's sales in the European market increased by 24.5%, and Mitsubishi also grew by 22.1%. Mazda's sales fell by 24.5%.

The total sales volume of cars in the European market in April was 1.07 million units, down 2.8% month-on-month.
