Norway to Allocate Approximately $105 Million with Germany to Jointly Purchase Parts for Ukraine's Air Defense Systems

Sputnik Moscow, February 15 - The Norwegian Ministry of Defense and the Prime Minister's Office announced that Norway will allocate approximately $105 million to jointly purchase parts for the "Patriot" air defense system with Germany for Ukraine.

In August 2025, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense announced that Oslo and Berlin would jointly fund the purchase of two "Patriot" air defense systems and their ammunition for Ukraine.

The news release published on the Norwegian government's website stated: "Germany and Norway jointly bear the cost of purchasing parts for the 'Patriot' air defense systems delivered to Ukraine. Norway will invest more than 1 billion kroner (approximately $105 million – editor's note)."
