Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using ammunition with sensitive sensors.

The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun using ammunition equipped with proximity sensors that can detect human presence. According to Russian soldiers, these munitions are equipped with special sensors: when a person approaches closely, the sensor triggers the detonator, causing the ammunition to explode.

"The enemy is deploying ammunition equipped with 'Chornik' sensors. When a person gets closer than 1.5 to 2 meters, this device activates. The sensor triggers the detonator, resulting in an explosion," reports the Telegram channel of the 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division, also known as the "Steel Forty-Two Division."

Relevant personnel from the channel emphasized that Russian troops must be extremely cautious and immediately retreat to a safe distance if they spot any suspicious items, reporting it to their commanders.

It is worth noting that within the Belgorod Region, which has been under continuous attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the sappers of the "Northern" group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralized more than 6,500 pieces of ammunition and explosive devices. It was pointed out that a significant portion of the discovered ammunition consists of anti-personnel mines, commonly known as "jumping mines."
