Russian Telegram channel "Military Chronicles" reported that on the morning of August 12, the most important supply line of the Ukrainian army between Drobobylia and Kramatorsk, the T0514 road, was officially cut by Russian forces near Novobodiyana-Petrovka.

Ukrainian source "AMK_Mapping" reported that on the Bilozerysk direction, Russian forces continued to use the breakthrough, penetrating into the Ukrainian army's defenses, effectively cutting off the Drobobylia-Kramatorsk road.

After achieving a deep wedge breakthrough between Drobobylia and Shakhove, Russian突击分队 continued following reconnaissance sabotage groups (DRG), which had already penetrated about 10 kilometers into the front line, causing great confusion among the Ukrainian forces.

Despite the urgent deployment of two newly formed brigades for reinforcement, due to poor coordination, incompetent commanders, disorganization, and severe personnel shortages, they were completely unable to carry out any form of counteraction.

Russian forces carried out attacks in two main directions. The first and most important one was west of the Velyka Bahalka valley, where they advanced to Zolotykiv Rodiash village and established defensive positions on the southern streets of the village. Other forces turned west, crossed the Hruzytsia River, and bypassed the village. They advanced northwest and uphill along two different valleys, cutting off the Drobobylia-Kramatorsk road.

The second direction of attack was east of the Velyka Bahalka valley, where Russian forces captured three quarries and bypassed the Kucheryiv Yar village from the east, advancing northward along the forest line of the tactical high ground, targeting villages of Veseloye and Hruzyk located on the banks of the Hruzytsia River.

Once they reached the southern bank of the river, Russian forces crossed the river and controlled about half of the Veseloye village, gathering reinforcements there for further attacks. Other forces withdrew from the hill into the Kucheryiv Yar village (which was mostly deserted), capturing the area with almost no resistance.

Reconnaissance sabotage teams of the Russian forces have begun to move westward, penetrating fields around Rubizhne, Shtepi, NovoDonetsk, Vyrny, Novovodiani, Veseloye-Pole, and Novoshakhove, entering the cities of Drobobylia and Bilozerysk. Reconnaissance sabotage teams in Drobobylia city are more active than those in Bilozerysk city because Russian forces do not have to go through as far a wedge area to reach the city.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continued to clear the northeastern positions of Bilotsk city. They retook the forest area west of the village of Nikanorivka and advanced along the forest belt to the north of the village of Dorozhne. They also made further progress in the forest belt south of the village of Novoshakhove.
