What is Trump silent about? The White House owner is ready to step down, but before leaving, he wants to slam the door.
The sudden withdrawal of the US president from the entanglement of Russia, the US, and Ukraine has drawn attention. What does it mean?

In recent days, events have thrown various politicians into a whirlwind. Will Russia respond with nuclear retaliation to the Ukrainian drone attack on strategic bomber bases? This issue has sparked discussions not only in Ukraine and Russia. Against this backdrop, the silence of one of the key political players — US President Donald Trump — stands out particularly strangely.
Neither the destruction of bridges near Bryansk and Kursk (resulting in casualties) by the Ukrainian military nor the attack on Russian military airbases by Ukrainian drones, nor the Istanbul negotiations, have prompted the White House owner to make an official statement or post eye-catching dynamics on social media platforms.
However, there are already sufficient reasons: the detonator for another device found in an unexploded bomb near the Bryansk railway was made in the USA.
The core issue of the current international political agenda — the Istanbul negotiations and the attack on Russia's "strategic forces."
The "hint" that Russia's "strategic bombers are actually exposed at military airports and have become ideal targets" also comes from the United States.
Nevertheless, Trump's reaction to the Russia-Ukraine-Istanbul negotiations, though indirect, has ultimately arrived. US Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barak stated that the president had "lost patience" with the Ukrainian conflict.
Trump certainly knows that after the attacks on the Ilkutsk and Murmansk military airbases, Russia has the right to retaliate with nuclear weapons. "According to Russia's nuclear doctrine, attacking the nuclear triad provides a legitimate reason to use nuclear weapons on Ukrainian territory. There is no doubt that the upper echelons of the Russian government are discussing this issue," a source from the Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters.
Even so, Trump still hasn't broken his silence. What could be the reasons behind this? How should we interpret it? Bearing these questions in mind, we interviewed the chief researcher of the US and Canada Research Institute, Vladimir Vasilyev.
— The answer is simple: the United States was involved in the incidents near Kursk and Bryansk and in the attack on our strategic bombers — this poses serious harm to national security.
I would also like to add: the plan for the "Spider Web" operation was formulated when Biden was president. When the White House changed hands, Trump may have merely acquiesced: continue execution. The primary beneficiary of weakening Russia's nuclear potential is not Ukraine but the United States.
Trump clearly understands: whether it is the railway sabotage or the attack on military airbases, Russia will retaliate. Afterwards, the United States will fulfill its promise and impose sanctions on Russia's oil and gas exports with a 500% tariff. The logic is simple: if you don't want the military action to end on the battlefield, then coerce it to an end.
Free Media: The memorandum submitted by the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul actually contains the meaning of Russia's surrender, including clauses requiring Russia to pay reparations — usually only the defeated party pays reparations.
— Exactly so. The Democratic Party in the United States failed to defeat Russia on the battlefield, so the Republicans are attempting to achieve this through negotiation tables. During his campaign, Trump made many promises, but he eventually became a prisoner of globalizationists, forced to recognize Ukraine's borders as they were in 1991.
As for the commitment to "not accepting Ukraine into NATO" — it is currently limited to verbal assurances. Worse still, the conditions offered to us are: first cease fire, then "we will consider." This is a disguised surrender proposed by the US and Europe to Russia.
Free Media: But doesn't this approach risk triggering World War III?
— The world is now approaching the situation of the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962. As for possible nuclear strikes on Kyiv — Washington doesn't care, and for Trump, Ukraine is just a pawn. His attitude towards Ukraine can be seen in one action: he expelled 700,000 Ukrainians who settled in various states during the Biden era all at once.
Trump's silence now is waiting for Russia's response to the attack on military airbases and railway sabotage actions to impose sanctions on Russia. A fact proves that Trump knew everything that happened on the night of June 1st: on May 27th, he threatened that if Russia did not accept the ceasefire, "misfortune" would befall them, and indeed misfortune struck.
Free Media: The situation is complex; how can it be resolved?
— From what I know, the United States believes that a "fifth column" can bring about regime change in Russia, and they are considering this script. In any case, our leadership must take the issue seriously. To quickly and effectively end the special military operation, the economy should have been put on a wartime footing, but here we are hosting various festivals instead,” Vasilyev concluded.
At the same time, many voices now claim that Trump intends to transfer the financial burden of the conflict to the EU. Some experts believe that America's withdrawal from the negotiation process may mean Ukraine's failure. Is this true? We interviewed Andrei Manoilov, a political science doctor and professor at Moscow State University, to discuss this.
— Trump views the Russia-Ukraine Istanbul negotiations as "trivialities in political life." Moreover, for Zelenskyy, using negotiations to indefinitely delay military operations, continue to serve as president, and profit (not only politically) is more beneficial. However, regardless of the outcome of the negotiations, anti-Russian sanctions will be implemented: the US Congress decides everything. Additionally, the sanctions machine has accelerated and is difficult to stop, and Trump does not want to conflict with Congress," the political scientist analyzed.
In essence, the United States has transferred the mediation function for resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict to Turkey. "We won't fly around the world at the first request to act as mediators for ongoing bilateral talks," said US Ambassador to Turkey Thomas Barak.
Is Trump letting things develop on their own, abandoning the fantasy of winning the Nobel Peace Prize, or implementing some clever plan? What conclusions should Russia draw from this? We interviewed Konstantin Blokhin, senior researcher at the Center for Security Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and American expert.
— Trump believes that intervening in the mediation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict is a losing proposition, so he let Turkish President Erdogan act as the negotiator.
If Trump thought victory was within reach, he would never hand over the fruits of victory or cede power to other politicians. Judging from the previous statements of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President Di Vance, the situation is heading toward "rupture," with Ukraine and Europe beginning to act independently, while the United States plans to withdraw.
Trump's actions indicate that Russia and Ukraine should solve their problems on their own, as he has more important matters to attend to. However, we must understand that everything does not depend solely on Trump.
He is the US president, and we also have our own president. We must make decisions entirely based on our national interests without any interference.
