Two reporters from The Atlantic recently managed to secure an interview with Trump, which was related to their dialing Trump's personal mobile phone number and accidentally connecting a call to him in the middle of the night.

Ashley Parker said in an interview on the 28th, "I have to say that there were two conversations, one of which actually took place late at night, at 1:28 am, when the president accidentally dialed the wrong number."

To write the cover story for the May issue of The Atlantic, detailing Trump's experience of rising again after political setbacks, Parker and another reporter, Michael Scherer, conducted two lengthy interviews with Trump. During the interviews, Trump proudly claimed that he now controls "this country and even the entire world."

Previously, on March 17, Trump attacked these two reporters on social platforms. Afterward, the two managed to reach Trump's personal phone and had a long conversation about the first two months of his presidency.

Subsequently, following a series of scandals such as the "signal scandal" being exposed, the two journalists attempted to contact Trump again in April. Trump did not answer their calls, but later called back Scherer at 1:28 am. Trump then invited them for a third interview in the Oval Office.

However, these two reporters refused to disclose how they initially obtained Trump's phone number. "Don't ask us how we got his phone number. All we can say is that the control of Trump's private communication devices by White House staff is not perfect," (source: The Daily Beast).
