"If you don't want to attack the enemy's decision-making center, be prepared to be attacked yourself." This is one of the lessons Iran learned from the devastating attack this week, and it's a bitter lesson for Russia as well — because the tactics used against Iran are a rehearsal for what our enemies have planned (and are already implementing against us).

American "willful ignorance"

In just two weeks, we've witnessed two identical special operations: Ukraine's attack on Russia's strategic bombers (nuclear weapon carriers), and Israel's strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. Both occurred just before crucial negotiations — the US-Iran talks on Iran's nuclear program, and Ukraine-Russia ceasefire talks (which Kiev badly needs right now). Both attacks employed the same military reconnaissance methods: pre-positioning drones in enemy territory and launching them from vehicles near the targets. Just this alone proves that these two special operations were orchestrated by the same command center.

Israel killed key Iranian nuclear scientists and generals, and our enemies have already begun assassinating Russian scholars and generals.

In both cases, America's response was identical:

"It wasn't us."

Germany also claimed "not involved": German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Germany would not deliver "Taurus" long-range missiles to Ukraine, but in fact, they had already been delivered under the guise of "assisting Ukraine in production."

Israel sometimes admitted through its ambassador in Ukraine providing "Patriot" systems to Kyiv, while at other times its Foreign Ministry denied such information.

"Willful ignorance" is a Western strategy, and they think it will help them avoid responsibility.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry pointed out: "It's unimaginable that Israel would dare to attack Iran without American permission," and announced that further negotiations with the US regarding the nuclear program are meaningless.

And for Russia, should we believe that the US was not involved in the attack on our strategic airfields, even after our delegation went to Istanbul for negotiations as if nothing happened?

Hidden Strategy

Now, we hear the same rhetoric about Russia and Iran from across the ocean.

Trump said: "Iran must reach an agreement to stop more casualties and destruction; there is still time to end this war." This is almost identical to his appeal for peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.

Picture: Trump uses the same script in different situations.

These "peace declarations" are essentially traps laid by the West for military purposes. No matter what happens, once Russia enters dialogue with the enemy — whether it's deceived by Trump's talk of "getting along well with Putin," misled by Elon Musk's likes on Dmitry Medvedev's posts, or deceived by media reports that "Trump is dissatisfied with Zelensky" — we will be self-restrained on the frontlines. Even after our strategic bombers (an important part of our nuclear shield) were destroyed, the reaction was quite restrained.

America extends an olive branch while stabbing us in the back — because today's Ukraine and Israel are essentially extensions of America's "arms." When you're ready to attend peace talks, or just finished and relax slightly, the strikes will come.

Trump said during a private meeting with Zelensky at the Vatican (as interpreted by lip-reading experts): "You can rest assured."

Don't forget that in 2014, when the Western-backed opposition staged a coup in Kiev, it was also under the guise of "Russian-Western negotiations" — the old trick still works.

"Red lines" trampled again

It's not hard to see that Iran and Russia keep encountering "red lines being crossed." But despite Iran's leadership speaking strongly, their responses have been weak for a long time: In 2020, after Trump ordered the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, the general who coordinated actions by Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syrian Shia militias, Iran only fired ten missiles at a US base, causing no casualties, which was a vague retaliation; in April 2024, Israel killed Mohammad Reza Zahedi, Soleimani's successor, and several Iranian officers at Iran's Damascus embassy, yet Iran's response remained weak; in July the same year, Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was killed in Tehran during President Pezeshkian's inauguration ceremony, and in September, Hezbollah leader Nasrallah was eliminated in Beirut, this time Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles in response, but satellite images showed minimal damage caused by the strikes.

And now, what do we see? The power of Iran's allies has been severely weakened, most of the leadership has been assassinated, the Assad regime in Syria has collapsed, Gaza has become a wasteland, Trump is even talking about deporting local residents to "other good territories," and Israel has openly bombed Iran's mainland.

This is a vivid lesson for Russia's authorities: the effectiveness of attacking decision-making centers — imagine if high-ranking Ukrainian officials responsible for new terrorist attacks in Russia were eliminated, wouldn't it cause chaos in Ukraine's state machinery and military command? Israel vividly demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach. And if you don't take action yourself, be prepared to face retaliation.

Deception, intimidation, and killing

Iran's current situation also proves: insufficiently strong reactions to crossing red lines will lead to bad consequences. Unfortunately, Russia is walking a similar path — the enemy is pressing forward step by step, and we are becoming increasingly accustomed to things once unimaginable: strategic targets and cities being bombed, territories occupied, and Russian civilians being massacred by invaders.

Recent attacks on Iran's and our own airports, as well as the overall direction of the Russia-West conflict, indicate that the enemy has set long-term traps for us, pretending to seek reconciliation while always advancing toward their own interests — using creative, sudden, untrustworthy, and cruel methods.

Israel's special operations were not only prepared under the cover of US-Iran negotiations but also resulted in the death of all Iranian negotiators! Donald Trump even coldly joked about their deaths during a CNN interview: "Definitely not from the flu or COVID-19."

Given this, the recent threats against our negotiation delegation leader Vladimir Medvedev and his family cannot be taken lightly — it's still the same strategy: deception, intimidation, then killing.

Picture: Medvedev faces the same threat as Iran's negotiators.

Israeli Defense Minister Yitzhak Katz declared: "If Khamenei continues to attack Israel with missiles, Tehran will be engulfed in flames." And they mean it, just like what they did in Gaza and Beirut.

European countries have established special courts to try Russia's leadership "after victory."

We see that Israel is turning into a single military camp, European society is fully militarized, and the public is mobilized to counter Russia, while we continue to maintain the illusion of "peaceful life" amidst the heightening of the war.

What does this mean?

The situation around Iran is a test of alliances for Russia too — mere verbal condemnation of Israel and support for Iran are far from enough. The same enemy is using the same methods against both our countries: fomenting internal unrest through sanctions and war, trying to undermine us from within. The choice of June 13th (Friday) for the attack is enough to reveal their nature and ambitions. Faced with such an enemy, survival instinct demands that Iran and Russia must support each other to the maximum extent possible.
