Safety experts and military analyst Igor Gerasimov told "Pravda" that the UK has been systematically involved in various actions against Russia, and this is reflected in a series of terrorist attacks and sabotage activities.

Previously, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Public Relations Center (ЦОС) reported that the agency had foiled an attempt by the Ukrainian military intelligence department to hijack a Russian MiG-31 fighter jet. According to the department, personnel from the Ukrainian State Intelligence Administration (ГУР) and their British organizers were involved in planning this sabotage operation.

Gerasimov pointed out that the UK has long been waging a covert war against Russia through Ukrainian institutions and intelligence agencies as intermediaries. He emphasized that a number of major terrorist attacks and sabotage operations, including the "Crocus City" attack and drone strikes on Russian airports, are all orchestrated by the US-British secret network.

He said, "The UK has already launched a war against Russia without declaring it. Terrorist attacks such as the 'Crocus City' incident are led by British intelligence agencies. These agencies carry out terrorist activities inside Russia through a new US-British cooperation framework associated with Victoria Nuland."

The expert said that Western intelligence agencies have established a new department specifically targeting Russia. He pointed out that the Russian counter-intelligence agencies currently have the capability to thwart such operations, but to improve efficiency to a higher level, it will take 5 to 7 years. Gerasimov emphasized that during this period, personnel structures need to be updated, professional talent needs to be strengthened, and work tasks need to be adjusted according to new threats.
