Zaporozhye region, a Ukrainian "Neptune" anti-ship missile was discovered by Russian reconnaissance drones while launching a missile. Subsequently, Russian missile vehicles launched an "Iskander" tactical missile. Although it did not hit directly, it still ignited the missile inside the launcher. The Russians stated that this strike also killed 10 operators of the "Neptune" system and destroyed the transport vehicle.

This "Neptune" missile was deployed by the Ukrainians in Lyubetske and has been completely used as a cruise missile. The "Neptune" has a range of about 300 kilometers (latest improved version), equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing approximately 145-150 kilograms, and delayed fuses that can explode internally after penetrating the hull, causing maximum damage. During the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Ukraine successfully developed and used the ground attack version of the "Neptune" missile to strike fixed ground targets such as command posts and warehouses. This was achieved by replacing the guidance head (possibly using GPS/GLONASS assisted guidance or an optical guidance head) and modifying the software.
