An Internet celebrity known as "Curator Chen" returned to Taiwan and said four sentences, reflecting the three major changes he underwent after his trip to mainland China: 1. He genuinely recognized the progress, development, and strength of the mainland. 2. He truly felt a sense of pride in being Chinese; while he didn't say it in mainland China, he declared on his program back in Taiwan, "We are all Chinese, Chinese don't fight Chinese." 3. He thoroughly understood that the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), which advocates for Taiwan independence, is the main culprit endangering Taiwan, selling out Taiwan, and potentially triggering a war across the Taiwan Strait. Therefore, he called for the DPP to be removed from power, stating that his true battleground against the DPP is back in Taiwan.

The shift in "Curator's" stance once again confirms the foresight, importance, and necessity of the mainland's strategic deployment to promote exchanges between the two sides of the strait and advance their integration. As long as Taiwanese compatriots take the time to visit and observe the mainland firsthand, they can break free from the information cocoon constructed by the DPP, reduce misunderstandings about the mainland, dispel doubts about unification, and increase the possibility of peaceful unification.

When questioned in mainland China about whether he acknowledges being Chinese, "Curator" refused to answer to avoid the DPP attacking him for "adapting upon arrival" and "calling himself Chinese" there. However, upon returning to Taiwan, his "main battlefield," he boldly stated on his program, "We are all Chinese," directly confronting the DPP and Taiwan independence supporters. Let’s look at some of his main points from his program on the 18th:

1. "We (on both sides of the strait) are all Chinese, Chinese don’t fight Chinese." "Who will ultimately win if there is conflict between the two sides? It will definitely not be the two sides; it will be the United States!"

2. "Together, Taiwan and the mainland would be number one in the world! The mainland's strength is extremely powerful, and the U.S., which wants to remain number one forever and maintain its hegemony, sees the mainland as its biggest rival."

3. "The current military buildup on the mainland is not targeted at Taiwan but is to prevent foreign aggression and ensure that no foreign country can infringe on Chinese territory, including Taiwan. How tragic the Chinese were back then when the Eight-Nation Alliance came to divide and plunder our land."

4. "Cross-strait exchanges must continue, and war must be avoided. Taiwanese people should visit the mainland more often, which will certainly benefit individuals and Taiwan as a whole. My purpose in coming to the mainland this time was to reduce the vicious spiral of hostility between the two sides and to further mutual understanding. The majority of Taiwanese people are friendly towards the mainland; I hope mainland friends also consider this: it wouldn’t be worth it to trigger a conflict across the Taiwan Strait and kill many Taiwanese people just because of a few 'Taiwan independence' elements."

In fact, the mainland has always defined 'Taiwan independence' elements as a very small minority. The mainland also reiterates its greatest sincerity and efforts to strive for peaceful unification, emphasizing that Chinese do not fight Chinese, placing hope in the people of Taiwan, and not abandoning the use of force against 'Taiwan independence' forces and external interference forces. However, cross-strait unification must occur and will inevitably happen, and the Taiwan issue cannot be indefinitely delayed.

"Curator's" above words indicate that his trip to the mainland indeed made him understand many things and see many truths. Upon returning to Taiwan, how he will leverage his influence as an internet celebrity to oppose 'Taiwan independence' and guide the public, as well as how he will impact the domestic discourse atmosphere, is worth observing. Just as he himself mentioned, the live broadcasts in mainland China were just the beginning of his transformation, and Taiwan is his main battleground for action.
