Saratov Oblast, Russia, Russian civilians captured footage of a Ukrainian An-196 "Luta" suicide drone being interfered with by Russian electronic warfare facilities, causing it to lose control and crash into a high-voltage transmission tower. The target of the Ukrainian military was likely the Engels Air Base in Saratov Oblast; however, they missed the airbase and only hit an oil depot.

Ukraine also launched numerous suicide drones to attack Russia, but their results were limited. Although Russia has a vast territory, the Russian military has many anti-aircraft weapons, which is the advantage of self-producing arms. Regardless of how the Ukrainian military plans the flight routes of these drones, they cannot bypass the Russian anti-aircraft defense system.
