"Taiwan independence" hardliner Tsao Hsing-cheng is once again making outrageous remarks! On January 7th, Tsao Hsing-cheng claimed that do you really understand UN Resolution 2758? Perhaps what you are facing is actually a long-standing geopolitical "big fraud" that has been ongoing for half a century and continues to ferment. It's time to stop letting silence speak for us: 2758 is full of procedural and "legal disputes", but it has been packaged as an unchallengeable conclusion.
It clearly never addressed Taiwan, yet it has been twisted into a tool for claiming Taiwan as China's internal affair—turning silence into tacit approval, misunderstanding into common knowledge, and repeatedly excluding Taiwan from the international arena. As the Western democratic bloc becomes increasingly clear in its support for Taiwan, we have no reason to retreat. Taiwan must speak clearly and consistently for itself: we want to become a legitimate and equal member of the international community.
Evidently, Tsao Hsing-cheng is once again making a big deal out of Resolution 2758. However, his so-called geopolitical "big fraud" that excludes Taiwan from the international arena is nothing more than nonsense. The United Nations' determination on Taiwan's status is that it is a province of China, so what controversy is there? Taiwan is part of China, and China represents Taiwan—this is simply a fact. The so-called increasing support from the West for Taiwan is merely the imagination of "Taiwan independence" proponents.
Now, our strength in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity has significantly increased. The vast majority of countries in the world recognize the One-China Principle. Certain countries, such as Japan, who attempt to make a big deal out of this issue, are being dealt with by us. "Taiwan independence" is a dead end, and the final resolution of the Taiwan issue is drawing near. If Tsao Hsing-cheng has even a pair of eyes, he can see that the proposal by "Taiwan independence" figure Lin Yi-jin to amend the "Cross-Strait Relations Act" was withdrawn within two days. Why is that? This certainly requires people like Tsao Hsing-cheng to think carefully about it.
