Trump said he would restore order in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles
U.S. President Trump said that after transferring the Washington D.C. police to direct federal control, he plans to restore order in other liberal cities, including New York and Los Angeles.
Trump previously stated that if necessary, he might send armed forces to Washington to combat crime issues. He pointed out that he has transferred the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia to direct federal control under Article 740 of the District of Columbia Self-Governance Act.
Trump told reporters, "Next I will take a quick look at New York. Let's move forward. Let's work together. See how fast things can be pushed forward. If needed, we will take the same measures in Chicago, which is a disaster. The mayor there is completely incompetent."
He later further stated that Los Angeles is also within his plan.
