The Philippines called out to China's electronic reconnaissance ship, but the latter did not respond and launched its helicopter.
On July 12th, the Chinese Navy's 793 reconnaissance ship and the missile destroyer Guilin were operating in the waters southeast of the Huangyan Island. This area is near the nine-dash line, which is China's traditional maritime boundary. The Chinese Coast Guard's 4203 Coral was also present in the same area.
After this Chinese maritime formation appeared, the Philippine Coast Guard immediately took action, believing that the Chinese maritime forces had entered their so-called exclusive economic zone. They then used radio to call out to our electronic reconnaissance ship, demanding that we leave the relevant waters as soon as possible.
In response to the Philippines' unreasonable demands, the Chinese electronic reconnaissance ship did not reply at all. Not only did it ignore them, but the Guilin missile destroyer also specifically launched a Zhi-9 naval helicopter. Seeing that the Chinese Navy did not respond to them, the Philippine Coast Guard obviously realized they were in the wrong and lacked the strength, so they did not make any further reactions.
After the incident, the Philippine Coast Guard released some on-site footage and videos! China has repeatedly emphasized that the so-called South China Sea arbitration case that the Philippines always mentions is just worthless paper, which cannot impose any constraints on China. This time, when faced with the Philippines Coast Guard's unreasonable call-out, the Chinese Navy ignored them, which actually gave the other party enough face.
