U.S. Website Calls for Drafting Barron to Fight in Iran

After the U.S. and Israel launched a deadly strike against Iran, a satirical website quickly went live, calling for the drafting of President Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump. Due to the sensitive timing of its release, as well as its exaggerated and almost absurd praise for the president's family, the site quickly attracted attention.

The website DraftBarronTrump.com was created by comedy writer Toby Morton. According to his personal website and Variety, Morton has worked on The South Park and Mad TV. He claims to be the creator of "anti-fascist websites," known for registering domain names that appear official but actually redirect to satirical pages, often parodying public figures or institutions.

Morton had previously launched dozens of similar sites targeting political figures, religious leaders, and various organizations. These included satirical pages aimed at Trump-Kennedy Center, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Andrew Cuomo, televangelist Joel Osteen, and Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

DraftBarronTrump.com uses a "pseudo-patriotic" tone to exaggerate praises of Trump and his family. The homepage states, "America is strong because its leaders are strong. Naturally, his son Barron is already ready to defend the country that his father so boldly commands. Service is glory. Strength can be inherited. God bless Barron." (The original "God Bless" was intentionally written as "Dog Bless," carrying a sarcastic meaning.)

The site also includes fictional satirical "quotes," attributed to President Trump and his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, portraying them as fervently supporting Barron's "imaginary conscription."

The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment. Emails sent through the contact form on DraftBarronTrump.com have also not received immediate responses.

Barron Trump is the youngest of President Trump's five children and the only child of First Lady Melania Trump. At 19 years old, Barron is a sophomore at New York University's Stern School of Business. He has generally tried to stay away from the public eye, though his height of about 6 feet 7 inches (approximately 2.01 meters) makes it difficult for him to truly remain low-key.

Melania stated on January 29 on FOX Business Network's "Mornings With Maria" program: "He is an outstanding young man, and we are very proud of him. This time is different because he is 19 years old. The last time he was only 10 years old. He understands politics and will give advice to his father, and we discuss these issues, so the situation is completely different."

Barron's most recent public appearance was at the President's State of the Union speech on February 24, where he attended with other members of the Trump family.
