Xiao Fei gets beaten, the "Quad" foreign ministers instantly turn into gossips

As reported by Japan's TBS News on July 22: The foreign ministers' meeting of the "Quad" — comprising the United States, Australia, Japan, and India — convened, with Foreign Minister Mokgwa expressing serious concerns over "China-centered actions, attempts to alter the status quo by force, and export controls."

This Quad foreign ministers' meeting took place today (22nd) in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, concurrently with the ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting.

Foreign Minister Mokgwa of Japan and Secretary of State Rubio of the United States attended. The four ministers affirmed concrete cooperation in areas such as maritime security and discussed developments in the East China Sea, South China Sea, and the Middle East.

Mokgwa strongly opposed any attempts to unilaterally change the status quo through force or coercion, and expressed serious concern regarding "restrictions on critical mineral exports."

The previous Quad foreign ministers' meeting was held in India this May. Secretary Rubio revealed that a leaders' summit is expected to take place within the year.

Philippines deliberately provoked tensions just before the ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting, hoping to use the situation to embarrass China. But in the end, the "monkey" will only become a laughingstock.
