Sputnik News, Washington, January 8 - American conservative journalist Tucker Carlson believes that President Donald Trump's decision to increase the defense budget to $1.5 trillion by 2027 indicates that the United States is preparing for a new world war.
In his program published on the social platform X, Carlson said: "The president announced that the Pentagon's budget will be increased from $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion... Carlson believes there is no other reason for the United States to increase its defense budget like this.
