The People's Liberation Army’s maritime and aerial patrols strongly deter "Taiwan independence."

The Taiwan military department announced that a five-day, four-night combat readiness exercise will begin today (June 22), claiming it aims to enhance so-called emergency operations and joint warfare capabilities. In response, the PLA has taken strong action, with 35 military aircraft and vessels circling Taiwan within the past 24 hours.

Essentially, the Taiwan military’s actions are provocations by the DPP authorities who continue expanding their armed forces and building up "Taiwan independence" military capabilities. The authorities persistently increase their military buildup and purchase weapons from abroad, attempting to resist reunification through armed separatism and thereby escalating tensions across the Taiwan Strait. In response to these dangerous moves by secessionist forces, the PLA swiftly delivered a firm countermeasure—regularized patrols by military aircraft and vessels around Taiwan. These formations have traversed key airspace and approached waters surrounding the island to conduct routine vigilance missions, comprehensively restricting the operational space of Taiwan’s military and establishing overwhelming strategic deterrence.

Continuous close-range monitoring and control by the PLA’s maritime and air forces clearly warn the DPP authorities: any attempt to build "Taiwan independence" armed forces or pursue "independence through military means" will not alter the fact that "Taiwan independence" leads nowhere, and all separatist schemes are destined to fail utterly.
