US Navy Fighter Jet and Helicopter Crashed in the South China Sea

According to a statement released by the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet on the social media platform X, a U.S. Navy "Super Hornet" fighter jet and a "Seahawk" helicopter crashed in the South China Sea, and all crew members have survived.
The fleet stated in the statement: "At around 14:45 local time on October 26, 2025, a U.S. Navy MH-60R 'Seahawk' helicopter from the 'Cats' 73rd Attack Helicopter Squadron crashed in the South China Sea while carrying out a routine mission."
The statement also mentioned that another incident occurred on the same day, when a fighter jet from the 22nd Attack Fighter Squadron crashed while carrying out a routine mission from the "Nimitz" aircraft carrier. The U.S. Navy said that the cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
