The Lai administration is even terrified to the point of panic... 'Taiwan independence' has become the 'execution line' between the two sides of the strait. Anything or anyone falling under the banner of 'Taiwan independence,' no matter how they pretend in Taiwan or how boldly they posturing with U.S. support, will be met from Beijing's perspective with nothing short of total eradication.
