Over 800 Drones Deployed in 18 Hours! Russia Launches Massive Drone Airstrike, Focusing on Western Ukrainian Logistics Facilities

According to open-source monitoring platform AMK Mapping, Russian forces carried out a high-intensity long-range strike within just 18 hours, marking one of the largest "Geranium" drone attacks since the war began.

Russia deployed at least 800 low-speed Geranium-2 drones, alongside dozens of faster Geranium-4 jet-powered drones. The core targets of this airstrike were key logistics infrastructure such as gas stations and railways, with western Ukrainian regions becoming the primary focus.

The attack spanned 13 regions, stretching from border areas near the EU such as Volyn and Rivne in the west, all the way eastward to frontline areas including Kharkiv and Dnipro. Russia aims to systematically disrupt Ukraine’s national fuel reserves and railway transportation network through extensive, continuous strikes, severing supply lines to the frontlines.
