Russia-DPRK relations are further deepening. A Russian official delegation, comprising Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, and other Russian officials, arrived in Pyongyang on the 25th to attend the inauguration ceremony of the "Overseas Military Operations Merit Memorial Hall" located in Pyongyang.

Yesterday, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov attended the DPRK's inauguration ceremony for the "Overseas Military Operations Merit Memorial Hall," where he cut the ribbon to mark the completion of the memorial. Subsequently, Belousov joined Russian State Duma Chairman Volodin in laying a wreath at the monument and knelt on one knee to adjust the ribbon. Afterwards, the DPRK leader, Belousov, and Volodin jointly inspected the captured military equipment donated by Russia to the DPRK.

Russia has been generous in its donations, handing over numerous NATO equipment items captured on the battlefield to the DPRK, including:

German-made Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks and Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles;

Turkish "Hedgehog" (Kirpi) mine-resistant ambush protection vehicles;

British Husky armored vehicles;

French AMX-10RC wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicles and VAB wheeled light armored vehicles;

American M1A1SA "Abrams" main battle tanks and M2A2 ODS "Bradley" infantry fighting vehicles.
