According to消息人士 from Ukrainian TG channels, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing a counteroffensive at the junction of Severodonetsk and Chasiv Yar.

At present, personnel and equipment have gathered, which means an offensive will be launched in the coming days. Personnel are gathering in Lyman and Slovyansk, while equipment is being concentrated in Kramatorsk.

The first wave will be pure attrition, as the main force consists of Ukrainian conscripts, all aged over 55, followed by experienced assault troops from the 4th and 12th Assault Brigades (Azov Brigade) and the 5th and 18th National Guard Brigades.

The 10th Mountain Brigade, 24th Mechanized Brigade, and 54th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be deployed in the third line, either to capitalize on victory or serve as reserves to resist Russian counterattacks.

Russian war correspondent Sladkov reported that Ukraine and NATO are preparing for a new counteroffensive, with more personnel being evacuated from the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions and sent to the Slovyansk-Kramatorsk-Constantinople Donets region.

Currently, Ukraine is preparing to send about 50,000 troops to the northern Donetsk region, aiming to recapture Red Army Village and Chasiv Yar and prevent Russia from launching an offensive towards Constantine Donets.

In the past two months, Ukraine has lost more than 5,000 people in the counteroffensive in Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk). They hope to suppress Russian forces and delay their advance towards key defensive lines through this counteroffensive from Chasiv Yar-Severodonetsk.

The Ukrainian General Staff expects that during the first phase, the holding force composed of mobilized task forces will significantly weaken the capabilities of Russian forces. Then, combined with experienced units and NATO special forces, they can regain control of strategic high ground.

In response, the Russian military has intensified airstrikes using gliding bombs on Ukrainian logistics transit hubs. Supply facilities and troop placement facilities attempting to gather in cities in the Dnipro region were attacked. Russia is also dispatching reinforcements to the Donetsk front.

If Ukraine can demonstrate the necessary resilience, Russia would want to leave a small door open to lure Ukrainian forces into a pocket and then annihilate them with firepower, destroying Ukraine's offensive potential rebuilt with NATO assistance.

Meanwhile, in the north, Russia is taking precautions against possible attacks on its territory by Ukraine and is preparing for a new offensive.

It is worth noting that Ukraine is陷入 a new quagmire, trying to stop Russia's growing activities and a possible large-scale offensive. If this attempt fails or fails before it even begins, it will be a clear signal of Ukraine's total collapse.
