Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fell ill after his visit to the United States, during which he met with US President Donald Trump.

The Ukrainian media "Novosti.LIVE" released a video clip of Zelenskyy's conversation with journalists on Tuesday. When answering questions, he coughed several times.

"Sorry, I have a cold," he explained.

Trump met with Zelenskyy at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on December 28. After their meeting, Trump and Zelenskyy jointly participated in a phone conference with European leaders. Before meeting with Zelenskyy, Trump said he had had a "good and productive" call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
