Ukrainian troops modified AN-2 light aircraft to intercept Russian military drones, but were accurately destroyed.

Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian military reconnaissance drones discovered three light aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near Tomakovka airport. After repeated observations, the Russian military believed that these were three modified An-2 light aircraft. The Ukrainian military installed machine guns on these light aircraft for intercepting Russian "Kamikaze" drones such as "Uranus"-2 and "Chrysanthemum".

After confirming the target, a Russian missile vehicle launched an "Iskander" tactical missile, which directly hit these light aircraft. Currently, all airports in Ukraine are key targets of Russian reconnaissance. Russian reconnaissance drones can conduct reconnaissance within a range of 200 kilometers deep into Ukraine.
