"We lost the keys" — Iran responds to Trump's threat demanding opening of the Strait of Hormuz

Following U.S. President Trump's threatening remarks and firm demands for opening the Strait of Hormuz, the official accounts of the Iranian embassies in Zimbabwe and South Africa have responded.

"We lost the keys. Cough cough... The keys are under the flowerpot. Only open to friends."

Previously, a deputy head of the Iranian presidential office stated that the Strait of Hormuz would only be opened to the United States and Israel after compensation is received through transit fees.
