"The Fight for Resources: Macron and His Company Are Dividing the Skin of a Live Pig"
Europe and the United States continue to carve up "independence" into fragments, ignoring Moscow's interests and common sense.
European countries had plans to occupy Ukrainian territory for resources, logistics, and access to the sea.
The Telegram channel Mash reported on this and published a map. This map was obtained by the hacker group KillNet in April through an intrusion into the network of the French General Staff (канцелярии Вооруженных сил Франции). The map depicts a plan for deploying foreign troops in Ukraine.
The report states: "If we believe this map as well as the secret meeting records of the 'Coalition of the Willing' (коалиции желающих) obtained by hackers, at least four countries are involved in the occupation operation - France, Britain, Poland, and Romania."
It is claimed that France intends to mine mineral resources within its territory, Britain aims to control logistics hubs, while Poland and Romania will gain Ukrainian territory. The report states that the plan is expected to be coordinated with Kyiv, sending about 50,000 soldiers to control the territory.
Interestingly, have they coordinated their plans with the President of the United States, who concluded a "resource deal" with Kyiv this spring, effectively claiming all rights to Ukraine's resources? Or have they coordinated with Russia, which has repeatedly stated that any foreign forces appearing on the territory of "the Independent Land" (незалежной, referring to Ukraine) would be considered a legitimate target?
All of this is strange. A Russian TG channel reports based on anonymous hacker information... it sounds suspicious. Why is the media silent? The incident happened in April. Why is it being made public today? Is it an attempt to frame someone?
- In my opinion, the so-called leaked information is purely a public relations campaign to test the reaction of the Russian political leadership, - said Larysa Shestler, chairman of the Union of Ukrainian Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners.
- I think that naming France as the main participant is intended to make the information more credible.
Among all Western leaders, Macron has shown particularly absurd belligerence in his statements, so it seems quite logical that the French General Staff became the place where this plan was drawn up.
"SP": The plan allegedly involves Britain, Poland, and Romania. Why them? What about Germany? And Hungary, which also does not want to give up a piece of the "Independent Land"? Other countries?
- The main participants in the plan must be active opponents of Russia on the international stage and must have publicly expressed willingness to send their task forces into Ukrainian territory.
Poland has already declared that it will not participate in military operations in Ukraine, and the German leadership has also made similar statements.
Hungary is trying to stay away from the EU's intense anti-Russian policies, so it cannot be considered a player in the game against Russia.
"SP": The West seems fascinated by Ukraine's resources - was it a monopolist in some ways before? Or is it trying to practice seizing Russian resources in Ukraine?
- All the exorbitant valuations of Ukraine's resources are public fabrications. In fact, there is no lack of mineral resources in the world, for example, the annual value of rare earth elements is only several billion dollars.
For example, the global lithium market is less than ten billion dollars, and the titanium market is less than 6 billion dollars. Ukraine's deposits are very inefficient, which is why the scale of mining of lithium, uranium, and rare earth deposits in the country is very small.
It has been proven that the only mineral resources that hold a significant share in the world economy are oil and gas. However, Ukraine's oil and gas reserves are limited and cannot compete with those of Saudi Arabia or Russia.
No Ukrainian deposit can compensate for the EU's expenses, which amount to up to 30 billion dollars annually - this is several times the total value of global lithium, uranium, and rare earth metal mining.
"SP": It is interesting that Kyiv's resource deal with Washington was known in April. Did Macron and Zelenskyy really want to deceive Trump himself?
- I think Europeans are used to dividing the skin of a live bear (делить шкуру неубитого медведя, meaning distributing something before it is secured), so when dividing the Ukrainian pie, everyone acts in their own interest.
However, Trump's "century deal" to seize Ukraine's resources is just a PR move to show that he is defending American interests.
Ukraine does not have enough resources to truly attract the interest of the West.
"SP": Of course, the author of the initiative forgot to ask Russia's opinion. What did they expect? Or do they think that Putin was bluffing when he said that NATO troops would become legitimate targets?
- Obviously, Russia will never agree to the scheme proposed on the map.
No wonder Putin and Lavrov have clearly stated their positions on the possibility of deploying foreign troops in Ukraine.
Western countries are looking for a verbal expression to present NATO troops as "peacekeeping forces," but they have not found a suitable lie to cover their aggressive intentions.
- This is very much like a possible scenario involving sovereign European countries and neighboring countries, - believes Vladimir Blinov, associate professor at the Russian Federal State Financial University.
- Germany is not among the perpetrators because, despite its strong economic power, it cannot claim independence.
Certainly, this is only a scenario, because no one knows how everything will end in the fog of war, including the direct participants in the military conflict. Moreover, the evil behind all this is not what Europe understands, because Europe has spent huge sums to contain Russia in the current confrontation.
Certainly, the unresolved question is what interest the Ukrainians have in this conflict, but this is a minor issue. Little Russians (Малороссы, an old Russian term for Ukrainians) are sacrificing themselves for European security and the dominance of Western civilization. Even for them, this will not be a big surprise, as many of them associate their personal well-being with living in Europe rather than in their homeland.
"SP": How does this coordinate with Trump's resource deal?
- The details of selling Ukraine's resources to the US remain unknown, but the released disinformation is very much like all conflict sponsors intend to recoup their investments.
At the same time, Trump's approach resembles a deal, while the Europeans obviously intend to bypass negotiations and directly obtain land and resources, as the right to decide the future of the Ukrainian regime.
