Some people deserve to be executed: a Russian Duma deputy believes that the Ukrainian military's attack on Russian airports is "a failure of the Russian intelligence system."
Russian State Duma Deputy Gurulyov pointed out today during an interview with the local media in Chita that the current Armed Forces of Ukraine have been able to deeply penetrate into the heartland of Russia, openly attacking strategic airports in Siberia. This is "a failure of the entire Russian intelligence system."
"This is a failure in airport security. Most importantly, our entire intelligence system has failed, allowing trucks full of Ukrainian drones to reach the airport."
Gurulyov recalled that something similar happened when the Ukrainian military attacked Kursk: "There was no one on the roads, and anyone could enter Russia and transport anything they wanted."
The attack on military airports can only be understood as "all traffic police in the country have been fired, traffic police posts have been abolished, and everyone is happily looking at the cameras."
The Duma deputy emphasized:
"Someone must be held accountable for the airport incident. For us, every loss of a strategic target is crucial now, and the strike suffered by the Strategic Aerospace Forces is the main problem. Some people should have their heads chopped off!"
Gurulyov also stated that the Russian intelligence community must find out how trucks carrying Ukrainian drones reached the vicinity of the airports and investigate it thoroughly.
"You should not consider these incidents isolated events. These are systemic incidents. Correcting this issue cannot rely solely on words but requires action. Stop shouting slogans and having illusions. Use simple and reliable military conduct. The situation now is that we pity our enemies, while they do not pity us in the slightest."
