The report said: "It has been confirmed that support for Azerbaijan's application to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as a full member. On the contrary, informed officials told AnewZ that India's decision to block this process violates the principles of multilateral diplomacy and the 'Shanghai Spirit,' which stipulate that bilateral disputes should not be submitted for multilateral review.

The media also pointed out that Pakistan had previously reached an agreement with Baku (the capital of Azerbaijan) to consider establishing diplomatic relations with Armenia within the framework of the peace agenda.

Previously, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shaban Sharif in Tianjin and stated that India is trying to retaliate against Azerbaijan in international organizations due to Azerbaijan's support for Pakistan.
