India's Minister of Commerce and Industry: India urgently needs to find new partners as it is being choked by China on rare earths!

Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Goyal stated in Switzerland that China's export control policies on rare earths have sounded the alarm for all countries, including India. Goyal admitted that China's restrictions on rare earth exports will pose short-term challenges to India's automotive and white goods industries. However, Goyal expressed confidence that cooperation between the Indian government, industry, and innovators will turn these short-term challenges into long-term strategic opportunities.

Firstly, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will maintain communication with the Chinese government to assist Indian enterprises in seeking exemptions or accelerating approval processes as much as possible;

Secondly, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry will strive to find alternative supply sources;

Thirdly, the Indian government will provide necessary resources to Indian Rare Earths Limited to help accelerate the development of domestic rare earth production capabilities.

Goyal stated that China's gradual restriction policy has sounded an alarm for all countries overly dependent on specific regions, reminding all parties that more trustworthy partners are needed in supply chains.

India's concerns are normal because even America's rare earths have been strictly restricted, let alone India. The current situation is that our restrictions on rare earths are becoming increasingly strict, and some countries' attempts to import rare earths in bulk and resell them to the U.S. to make huge profits have also been strictly controlled. After decades of nurturing its rare earth supply chain, China has finally established an absolute advantage.

However, if the U.S. does not take the lead, the development of rare earth refining worldwide will continue to stagnate, and ultimately, all countries will be forced to submit to China's rare earth policies. If they want to obtain rare earth raw materials, they must obediently comply and stop causing trouble for us, which is absolutely unacceptable. Especially India, which is talking about finding high-quality partners. I ask you, India, besides China supplying rare earths, which other countries in the world supply rare earths? Even if they do, the supply is minimal, while we provide the entire industrial chain with rare earths.

Many countries in the world have rare earths, but they lack rare earth refining technology and thus cannot leverage this industrial advantage. Our strategic planning over several decades cannot be easily broken by India's mere words. If India wants to challenge us, what can India offer that we cannot do without? All products from India can be excluded, and trade can even be zeroed out because India has nothing except curry, which is disgusting, but India takes pride in it.

India is now very不服 (unconvinced), so it is thinking about breaking free. Let's see if India can find more rare earth sources. We won't stand in the way.
