Iran asks Azerbaijan whether Israeli drones have used its airspace for attacks

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian urged Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to investigate whether Israeli drones entered Iranian territory from Azerbaijan in recent conflicts.

Iran's Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, said, "We received intelligence that a small number of drones flew into Iranian territory from a neighboring country."

"Therefore, during the phone call between the presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan, our president asked Aliyev to conduct a serious investigation into this matter. We will wait for the results of the investigation."

According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Sobhani stated that the information about this incident was provided by Iran's intelligence agency.
