"We also have to make a living": Vucic responds to Moscow, saying exports of ammunition will continue

According to TASS, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated during the "European Dialogue" session at the Brussels Summit that Serbia will continue to export arms, despite warnings from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service that some Serbian shells may have appeared in Ukraine.

Vucic pointed out that arms exports are an important source of income for Serbia's economy. He mentioned that Belgrade had temporarily suspended shipments in June due to Moscow's concerns, but the country could not completely abandon exports.

"We need to sell these munitions to certain parties, and we will do our best to sell them to earn income to support ourselves. But we will try our best to ensure that these munitions do not end up in conflict areas, although this sometimes still happens," the Serbian leader emphasized.

Previously, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service had warned that Western countries were purchasing Serbian munitions and then transferring them to Ukraine. Although Belgrade has not officially joined the sanctions against Russia, it has maintained a neutral stance, striving to balance relations with Moscow and EU countries.

The European Commission has previously called on Serbia to align its foreign policy with the EU's direction.
