Russia supports Armenia in establishing the "Trump Road"!
Vice Premier of Russia Alexei Ovchinnikov said that if Yerevan considers it necessary, Russia supports Armenia in establishing a transportation corridor with Azerbaijan called the "Trump International Peace and Prosperity Road".
"We look at this issue from this perspective. Armenia is our strategic ally, and if Armenia thinks it is beneficial for them, we certainly support Armenia."
"If they think that signing the relevant declaration in Washington provides significant security guarantees, that's good, because we also support the peace process in the South Caucasus, which fully aligns with Russia's interests."
On August 8, after a trilateral meeting with the U.S. president, Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan signed a joint statement on the peaceful resolution of the conflict between Baku and Yerevan and the establishment of the Zangazur transport corridor.
